Short V Story: We're In This Together

Note: Slight change in the first 14 minutes of episode 1 season 2
Tyler is at the Visitor's Peace Ambassador Center that has become a powder keg waiting to explode, and looks up at the Mothership, thinking about Lisa and Leoni... while at the same time Lisa looks down from the Mothership, thinking about him.
But she is not alone in watching down and thinking about Tyler.
Her companion Leoni is with her, his arm around her shoulder, looking down as well.
"You miss him, don't you?" he asks her.
She stops looking down and looks at him, then nods.
"I haven't been allowed to go down there ever since my mother brought down the red sky upon them. I'm worried that he might have been hurt by the rioters."
"I also haven't been allowed to see anyone," Lisa whispered against his uniform. "Luckily I could get my mother to look the other way when your name was mentioned."
Yeah, but your mother hates me, Leoni thought, thinking about vocalizing his thought.
"But your mother hates me. Remember what she did to my Cara? What she did to you?"
Lisa grimaced as she remembered, and looks away.
It is Leoni's hand that brings her face back to his own, which makes her look into his eyes and then his lips that touch hers.
"We three are in this together, Lisa. You're not alone." he whispered against her lips.
Lisa softly smiles and kisses him back.
"You're right. We need to be strong." Lisa whispered.
"And whatever will happen, Tyler and I will have your back."
She wants to tell him that she hasn't been feeling very well, but she can't.
She doesn't know what it is that keeps her awake at night, even when she has slept with Leoni and he is sleeping against her, while she is watching him, because if she tries to go back to sleep, the pain in her body returns.
Her own V puberty... not that she knows what it is about... not yet.
