Chapter 3: Revelation

"What? Does that mean I don't get to go out with my friends tonight? Awww that sucks! That's so not fair!" Olivier said in response after his dad had spoken.

"Mind your language, mon fils." Gambit told his son.

Megan heard a familiar voice coming just around the corner. She had also taken a shower, even if she hadn't been present at the training session in the Danger Room. She turned the corner and saw John and her boyfriend Olivier with Gambit.

She smiled. "Remy!" Megan said and threw her arms around Gambit. "Megan! Hello there, belle. My, you get more beautiful whenever I see you."

Olivier got right to the point. "Baby, I cannot go out with you and the others tonight. My dad wants to talk. He has something to tell me which I know nothing of, I'm sure." he told his girlfriend. He turned to John. "Buddy, even though I won't be there, I want you to make sure my Megan is having fun, okay?"

Megan smirked. "Standing right here, handsome." she said as she ended the hug with Olivier's father and kissed her boyfriend on the lips right in front of his father and his best friend John. She had to do a double-take as she saw how her boyfriend's best friend was dressed. She had to be really careful, or she'd expose herself drooling over him. The sight that she was given, was truly angelic... yet he wasn't showing his wings. If John would show his wings, at least his clothes wouldn't be torn.

John frowned as he saw Gambit grimace. Was he not okay with Megan as his son's girlfriend? John thought to himself, his thoughts shielded off for anyone else to pick up on them.

John smiled. "You got it, buddy. C'mon Megan, let your boyfriend have some time with his dad." Megan nodded and walked away with John. Thoughts of pressing him against the wall and kissing him hard took control, but she wouldn't make them come true. If she would, she would have taken the meaning of the word hidden away from their hidden relationship.

"You look really good, Meg." John told her as they walked outside of the Mansion, joining the others there in front of the parking lot. They piled into two cars and started driving to their favorite club in Salem Center.

A few minutes later they parked close to their favorite club. John opened the door for Megan and No-Name, who had decided to drive with him. Pavel, Rico and Becka were in the other car. They quickly entered the establishment and looked around the interior of the club. "Well, what shall we do first? Have a drink or dance first?" Becka asked.

They decided to dance first. John and Megan were dancing so close, they were practically glued together. Their bodies moved as one, and for a change they weren't exchanging bodily fluids, not even kissing. Just looking into eachother's eyes was enough... but they knew they were lying to eachother. They want to be touched.

It didn't happen during the first couple of songs. They took a little break; John bought some Cokes for his friends. Megan had told the others why Olivier couldn't make it. Another nice song started playing, but John and Megan weren't into it.

Meg?

John asked her telepathically.


What did your mother want with you this morning?

Megan's eyes looked pleading as if they were begging John to take her out of here. He reached her close and started to run toward the exit of the club, while Megan probed deep into Rico's mind.

"Huh?" Rico said as he stopped in mid-dance. "Oh, right. Guys, John and Megan have gone outside for some air. Whatever that means."

The moment the door was closed and after having made sure nobody was outside, John's wings unfurled and while he held Megan close, he flew to the roof of the highest building. The moment their feet landed on the roof, clothes got taken off and that without a rip in one piece of clothing! Lips touched, tongues battled for domination over the other, bodies writhed to the music that even though they were nowhere near the club in Salem Center, they knew the lyrics by heart.

Meanwhile, Olivier and Gambit had walked toward the Headmaster's office and knocked on the door. Scott's face was revealed. "Come in, Remy. We were expecting you." The headmaster opened the door wider so the two could come inside the room.

Olivier watched his father as he joined Scott and Emma and then saw him turn around to look back at Olivier like he had done something wrong.


Gambit's son looked from Scott to Emma to Gambit and then back to Scott again. "What did I do?" he asked them.
