Summary: Anna deals with Leoni, Lisa's childhood friend. Takes place right after Snapped.

She walked right on toward the chambers of her daughter's childhood friend.

This had to be dealt with now.

Meanwhile, after he had been thrown roughly into his room and when he discovered that there was a lock on his door so he couldn't escape, Leoni sighed.

Anna.

Why wouldn't she believe what he had told her?

He hoped Lisa would get through to her somehow.

While he waited for the lock to disappear, he found himself lost in thought.

Thoughts of that night before they would land on Earth.

The Visitor assigned as the Peace Ambassador of the Netherlands, who is very estastic to do his new job drops by his childhood friend's Lisa's chambers.

He's from a lesser family of Vs just not just as high a title like Lisa.

"Hey Lizzie (his nickname for her when they were younger)... are you ready for the big day tomorrow?" Leoni asked as he sits next to her and looks at her.

He's always had taken a liking to her.

Lisa looks up as she hears the door open, a smile coming to her lovely face at seeing her old childhood friend.

She nodded her head then shook it slightly.

"I'm nervous. It's so..."

She was not even sure how to put it all into words.

A whole new world was opening for them.

An exciting thought, but scary too.

"Overwhelming?" Leoni guessed.

He wrapped his arms around her and gave her a hug, then rubbed his nose against her.

"Whatever happens, happens, Lisa. For what it is worth, I'm nervous too. A completely new race and everything. I heard the Netherlands is much further away than the part you are assigned, Lizzie."

He sighed softly. "What do you want to do on the last day of our old lives?"

Lisa nodded.

"Yes...that's it."

She let out a soft giggle when he rubbed his nose against her. Something he used to do when they were kids. Returning his hug, she smiled.

"Lets go look one of those...earth movies they are so fond of."

Sadness had settled in her voice though.

"The other side of the planet."

He found himself beaming at that soft giggle. Not once did she think less of him... well, not that he knew of, even though his family wasn't as high in rank as hers. Leoni nodded as she said that it was on the other side of the planet. "I'm scared...something will happen and you will forget about me." he said softly.

"Lisa, there's something you should know..." He said to her as he took her hands in his while he looked at her. "Was there ever a time you thought... well... less of me? I know I don't have a rank as high as your family... and your mother may not like me all that much..."

He closed his eyes briefly and then opened them again. "But that isn't really what I wanted to tell you..."

Lisa shook her head determinedly.

"Why would i forget you?"

She listened to his words, her eyes going slightly wide. Before stating matter of fact.

"No never. To me a rank is just a word, no more. It doesn't decide a persons character."

Leoni smiled. "You're one in a million, Lisa." and gave her a wink. He was glad his thoughts were confirmed: she didn't think different of him because his family didn't share the same rank as hers.

He looked into her eyes as he thought of what he originally wanted to do next. He wanted to tell her that he had begun to feel a lot more for her than just being childhood friends, that he was in love with her, that he was going to move his head forward a bit and kiss her lips... the tension in his body threatened to take control and do just that, but he didn't.

"So... Earth movie, huh? Which one shall we watch?" Leoni asked, as he filed away telling her how he felt away for a later time.

Lisa smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

"Ranks just seem so...I don't know. Trying to make one self better than others just by birth. I think it should be personality and character strength that should decide, not birth"

She saw the tension in him, that there was something he wanted to say...wanted to do...but what? Lisa waited, but when he did nothing, just shrugged it off. Perhaps later she would find out.
His question however made her smile turn to mischief.

"How about..."

Raising her hands she wiggled her fingers in front of him, before saying with a sinister voice

"Aliens"

The moment that word left her lips, Lisa burst into laughter.

"Humans have a fascination with aliens, did you know that?"

Leoni nodded. "I totally agree with you." he said to her in reply to her comment about rank and that it should be in personality and strength. "Well, if you ever become our new Queen, it should totally be about personality and strength." Leoni said with a grin that kept on growing.

He wondered if she could feel his urge to show her that which he had wanted to show her, but it would just have to wait. He wondered if two people of the same race like theirs could be connected the way he wanted to be connected with her.

Leoni saw her smile turn to mischief. *UhOh, he thought. What is she up to now?* Lisa's childhood friend thought.

The following moment happened so fast that he couldn't stop himself.

He laughed with her as she showed her mischief... and in that moment when she was about to ask her question he reached forward and gave her a kiss on her lips.

It was the sweet act of her mischief that had made him slip of being in control of his feelings for her, that had brought down the wall he had put around that tension...

Leoni was shocked at his action but couldn't give himself to apologize, so he shook his head while the shock was still clear on his facial expression. "No, I had no idea the humans are so fascinated with aliens."

"If i ever will, that is"

Lisa let out a small sigh, unsure what the time on earth will bring them. It seemed confusing and scary, a whole new alien world. But exciting too.

"I wonder how they will react to us. From what i seen in movies they make aliens either evil, or make fun of them. But to contradict it all the movies for their children, aliens are always....cute and fun loving"

She shook her head slightly. Humans seemed like such a confusing species. Her thoughts were on that for a few more moments..until his sudden kiss startled her back into the here and now. Lisa's eyes went wide, and a blush blossomed in her cheeks.

"What..what was that for?"

Leoni wondered why she would be saying 'if I ever will'. Nobody lived forever. There would come a time when she would take over the reigns from her mother.

He nodded as he looked at her. "From those movies it seems that the adult humans can't ever seem to like the aliens, as for the teens, we are sort of an imaginary friend made real."

He watched her stunned reaction, which seemed to bring her back out of wherever her thoughts had strayed to.

"I just can't bear the thought of losing you, Lisa," Leoni started as he reached for her hand. "I... care about you. I have for a long time now." Leoni said as he leaned in to kiss her again.

Everything stopped when he kissed her again. What was this feeling?

The kisses were nice. She wanted to kiss him like that too.

Her hands wrapped around him and slowly she brought her lips against his, feeling that particular feeling again.

Before they knew it, they had felt the floor underneath them and were kissing eachother heavily.

"Mmm... May I, Lisa?" Leoni whispered against her lips.

Lisa stopped and looked at her friend.

"May I what?"

"T... touch your body." Leoni whispered.

"Okay," Lisa whispered back.

One of Leoni's hands slid underneath her uniform as Lisa instantly did the same when they continued kissing eachother again.

His fingers touched her breast and it made Lisa moan in Leoni's mouth.

Leoni got excited, very excited...

"Daughter, we're about to..." Anna started, but was halted in mid-sentence.

She pulled Leoni off her daughter without any hesitation and pushed him out the door.

"Forget him, Lisa, you have a greater destiny than Leoni."

Lisa blushed. "I know, Mother. I'm sorry, but I can't just forget about him, he's my best friend."

"I know. I just came by to tell you that we are about to land on Earth."

~~~~~~
He was so lost in thought that he didn't hear his door open.
"Leoni."
He instantly stopped thinking about that memory and addressed Anna.
"Anna..." Leoni said, and a moment went by.
"Do forgive me if I don't bow down." he added after that moment.
She laughed softly. "I wouldn't expect you to."
And then Anna stood closer in front of him, her hand around his neck.
"Stop interfering with my daughter's destiny, or so help me GOD, I will get rid of you! Do I make myself clear?"
"Anna.... you..." Leoni struggled.
She let him go and then slapped him hard on his cheek.
"Well?" Anna pressed.
"Crystal-clear."  Leoni croaked, rubbing his throat and cheek with both hands.
"Good. Have a pleasant night, Leoni." Anna said grinning before she left.
I swear, sometimes I think I should have just imprisoned him like you, Mother, Anna thought as the doors slid shut while she walked through the corridor of the Mothership back to her own quarters.
The End.
