Short Summary: Kara has her memory back and feels guilty about what she did to Lois when they had first met.

Chapter 9: Mistake
Kara's head lay on Jan's chest and slowly began to wake up. Weird, I don't feel Lois's breasts next to my head. I wonder what's up with that. Kara thought as she slowly opened her eyes and yelled out. Jan had already woken up and was staring at Kara's face. She looked so angelic there, with her sweet beautiful golden hair, her cheek on his chest. Kara moved her head from Jan's chest. "Y... you're n...not L...Lois," she stammered as she saw his nudity. "Let's not tell your girlfriend about this. You missed Lois so you sought bodily comfort. We return to the Daily Planet later today and you can tell Lois what an awesome time you've had meeting One Republic again." Jan said, caressing her cheek.
"You... you want me to... to lie to Lois?" Kara whispered, dabbing her tears away, thankful Jan was only caressing her cheek and not wiping her tears away. Jan nodded at her. "It was a mistake, what has happened last night, but don't let it worry you, Kara. You will return to Lois's side as if nothing has happened between us. Understand?" Jan asked, eyes glowing again. "Yes, I understand." Kara said, nodding up and down only once.
"Good. Then let's share a shower and get dressed so we can be back at the Daily Planet before noon." Jan suggested. "An excellent idea, Jan, come." Kara said and reached for his hand. When her hand clasped around his, she pulled Jan towards the shower in the bathroom, noticing his cock again. But she didn't fall for him again... did she? Chloe was busy typing up an article for Lex when she heard a groan. She looked up from her DELL computer and discovered the sound came from Lois's desk. "Lo, what's wrong?" Chloe asked after having saved her article and then had joined her cousin. "Oh, having trouble with the article you're supposed to be writing, huh?" Chloe noticed. "Yes and no, Chlo. It's that, but also another thing." Chloe nodded. "What is it, Lo?" Chloe asked him as she lay a hand on her shoulder. "I'm scared about what Kara's doing there with Jan. It's my first lesbian relationship and don't get me wrong, I love Kara, but I'm afraid something's happened." Lois said, while trying to type the ending of her article.
"Kara is faithful, Lo. I know she is. Clark is faithful and he's K..." Chloe started, but stopped. Lois looked at Chloe, awaiting her reply, but raised an eyebrow when she didn't finish. "K what, Chlo? Out with it." Lois said to her cousin. "Uhm, Krazy about movies. Maybe we should all have movie night!" Chloe said, grinning. "Would you like that, cuz?" Chloe added.
What's with the change of letter? Last I checked you spelled crazy with a c and not a k. Lois thought.

Jan paid the cab driver the amount plus a tip and opened the door for Kara. "Thanks." Kara said, not looking at him as she entered the revolving doors of the Daily Planet. Rao, she wanted to superspeed away, but had promised Lois she would visit at the Daily Planet as soon as possible when she returned. Jan followed her, but at a calm pace.
She didn't use the elevator though. "I'm taking the stairs." She said to Jan and he nodded. "See you in the bullpen." Jan said as he pressed the button for the elevator. Kara supersped downstairs and got there faster than Jan did. She remembered what had happened when she had wrapped her arms around Lois and had licked her earlobe, how Lois had responded. So this time, she didn't do that. "Lois, I'm back!" Kara called. Lois turned around and squealed. "KARA! How was the concert? Did you have fun?" Lois asked as she wrapped her arms around Kara and hugged her, then kissed her lips. "Mmm, I had a lot of fun, but, I missed you." Kara said and kissed her back, staying in the hug.
Jan just arrived downstairs and smiled when he heard those words. We sure had a lot of fun, Kara, Jan thought, as he went towards his own desk, which wasn't far from Chloe's workstation. No facial expression, no nothing, not even an evil or cruel grin was etched on his face.
