Summary: Laura van Es will do anything to get the girl of his dreams Jan Vandervoort.

At long last, she would finally be his. There she was. Yeah, it was a convention filled with other fans, maybe there would be a common spirit who had these same thoughts, desires about his idol, but Laura van Es didn't care. He only didn't like the name he had been given upon birth. Apparently his parents had hoped for a girl, who would name their son Laura?! That is why he always told people to call him Laurence or something along those lines. His parents and family members were like the only ones who even called him Laura. He had gotten his friends so far to get them to call him by his preferred name.
"I would love to return to Smallville one day... it's just that the writers haven't called me back yet. I think they thought that Kara's story wrapped up nicely." Jan laughed. "I know right? What's with all the Kandorians and no Kara?" she smiled back at the fan who had asked that question.
"I think you are AMAZING on V!" another fan said. Jan put the microphone to her lips. "Why thank you, I love working with my V costars, they are really nice." she told the crowd but mainly the fan who was allowed to ask a question. "Any chance there will be a V pregnancy between Lisa and Tyler?"
Like I haven't heard that one before. Jan Vandervoort thought as she heard the question flow from her fan's lips. "I don't know anything about that. I will have to ask the producers sometime. But it would really be an interesting direction to take that relationship, I'll have to give you that." she said with a smile. She moved on to the next fan.
"Oh My God Jan, I totally LOVE you, can I get a picture with you?" the fan asked. "Of course. Do you have a camera?" Jan said smiling.
The fan blinked. It would be pure awesomeness if that picture could be taken!! A camera was brought forth and they posed for a picture, Jan's dazzling smile shown for all to see. She loved doing conventions like this.
Look at that dazzling smile... funny how she shows that on every picture except when she is posing for a picture with Corey... Laura thought as the other fan nearly hyperventilated thanking Jan for the picture. He watched as the fan wrapped his arms around her.
Intense jealousy bubbled through Laura's being as she watched that display of affection being acted out so close on that small podium.
And then it was finally his turn. "A familiar face. Hi Laura. It's nice to see you again." Jan said, happy to at least know one other person in the convention hall. She sometimes chatted with him on Facebook, when she had some free time on her hands. Sometimes it would be daily, and other times weeks, maybe months, would go by before they would chat again. It was no secret that she knew about Laura's stories that he had written about her. As long as she wasn't killed or harmed in those stories, it was fine with her.
Heads turned to Laura, jealousy coursing through the other fans. How in the world did they know eachother?! Jan saw the animosity from the other fans. "It's no secret that you can become my friend on my Facebook account. The latest picture from my last photoshoot is my main picture. Don't be a stranger and join up." Jan said smiling, hoping her dazzling smile would disarm the tension growing in the convention hall.
"Hi Jan. I was wondering, would you be in for a storyline involving a fellow Visitor who has the hots for Lisa, which would create some friction in the Tysa relationship?" Laura asked. Jan grinned at the mention of the relationship name, or 'ship as those fanfiction writers called it.
Funny that Laura never mentioned that question during those chats they did.
"Now that would surely fire up the storyline. I'll be sure to ask the producers that. Could be fun. Could be scary too." Jan said with a wink.
The man who made all this possible appeared on the podium. "That's it for today. Did you all have ---"
"How's Corey doing, Jan?" Laura then asked his idol.
"I'm sorry, Jake just told you the convention is over. And you were only allowed to ask one question, Laura." Jan said as she got up from the seat to leave. Truth was, she was meeting Corey for dinner tonight at a restaurant not far from here. She had mentioned it to Laura last night during that chat session. She didn't understand why he asked that question again.
"C'mon, please?" Laura asked, all innocent eyes, but what he had planned for her was anything BUT innocent.
"Things are great between us." Jan finished and then left through a different exit as the fans all got into rows and were led out of the building.
She just didn't get why he would ask her that. She knew the story about the unhappiness of having a female name while he was a man. She let her eyes glaze over as she thought what it would be like to act out one of those stories... with Corey. But he didn't want to. That only left Laura. He was attractive, she had to give him that.
As she walked to her car, she had no idea that someone was waiting for her.
"First time we meet in real life, this just isn't a way to say goodbye, Jan." Laura said as he waited by a car he had thought was hers.
Jan sighed. "Look, if this is about the question, you already know this! I told you last night that I would be having dinner with him in..."
"La Luna." Laura finished for her.
She nodded. "Yes, La Luna. I was very capable of remembering that, thank you very much." Jan said as she took her set of keys from her purse, to click open the doors while she moved toward her car when Laura flung his arms around her in a hug. "Laura... what do you want from me?"
Besides the obvious? Laura thought as he looked into her eyes. He had declared her love before, and in his opinion, every story was a declaration of love. "Nothing much. Just this." he said, as his hands moved to her ass and squeezed them while he kissed Jan deeply.
His body close to hers, he could feel her nipples harden through her shirt, she could feel his hands on her ass, but that wasn't the only thing she felt. No, she felt something grow... in his pants. Realizing the kiss had lasted longer than intended, she pushed him off. "I really have to go now, Laura." Jan said as she opened the car door and got in.
She left him there on the ground as he slowly got up while she drove to La Luna to meet with Corey.
Some day... Jan Vandervoort... you will be mine... Laura van Es thought as he got up. It was true. Her lips did taste like strawberries. Jan Vandervoort had no idea what she had done just by letting him kiss her like that.
