Snowflake Challenge Day 14 (finally found the courage)

 Day 14

In your own space, talk about what you think the future holds for fandom. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Okay, so I wasn't really sure how to answer this question (stupid huh?)

I think there'll be tons more fandom for future TV Shows / Books / Videogames.

Like with my favorite book series BOYSTOWN by Jake Biondi which is being turned into a TV Show Series, no doubt there'll be a birth of new fans once they see the TV Show (or it'll be bad and the Powers That Be will play a bowling ball game and answer the big question will they / won't they renew? and they throw a strike and decide to cancel it after a season... RIP The Tomorrow People, Dead of Summer, Point Pleasant, Witness, Guilt)

Shadowhunters! We as the fans have supported #SaveShadowhunters again and again but the final season is returning February 25th and then...?!

It seems like say with Smallville there's still a fandom X years later so I am sure that Shadowhunters Fandom will survive too (I'm LOVING The Dark Artifices Book Series so much and really want to see it turned into some show or movie or another (I WANT TO SEE MARK BLACKTHORN and KIERAN ON TV OR A MOVIE SCREEN), this hilarious reviewer called abnormallyadam MY GOD his reviews are hilarious and straight-hitting-in-the-heart.

Snowflake Challenge Day 15 aka The FINALE

 Day 15

Talk about why you participated in Snowflake &/or what you got out of it. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I think my girlfriend participated in it last year and this year I was like huh, I'd love to give it a go , and therefore I did it.

Some entries were later than the day they came out, but hey, I persevered and stuck with it until the end.

I think the main reason was to make more friends, because I am super-insecure as a writer and mostly it's just my girlfriend and a good friend of mine commenting on my fics, which sometimes make me think 'is that all I can? Get 2 comments and that's it?

I'm also on AO3 but there it is mostly getting Kudos (mostly Guests)

I had a fic called Shower Buddies in the 13 Reasons Why Fandom which got a really bad review, and a lot of times I'm thinking when I see a Kudo on a fic what were the good parts? were there bad parts? did that person see room for improvement?

I've recently friended an amazing Supernatural Fan on LJ and so I'm curious what they thought of the fics I wrote for that fandom and some RPF ones, but I've yet to get a comment on those which continue to make me insecure if I should continue writing in general.

I'm also thankful for the 3 Sentence Ficathon which made me get out of my shell more and write in other fandom than I always do.

*Insert Porky Pig Voice: Bbbbbbbbbb That's All Folks!*

Until Next Year!

(Now in NO WAY am I turning the lights out on DW only to continue on LJ again.)
