This time Kal-El had untied Lois and when she had woken, she saw him again with a tray of food.
"You again? Kal-El the pervert..." she looked down at the tray of food. "and you've brought me some food. How sweet! NOT." she commented. "How do I know you did not poison it?"
"I didn't." Kal-El lied. Yes, he had, he had put something in the food that would make her want him and totally forget about her boyfriend.
"It tastes really good, trust me, Lois." Kal-El said as he gave her utensils to use.
"You trust me enough that I won't try to jab my fork into your wrist?" Lois asked as she angled the fork like it was a weapon now.

She pricked a bit into it with her fork and took a bite. Her eyes glowed a bit before she started to take more into her mouth.

Lois stopped eating and looked at him, really looked at him, as if she saw him for the very first time. "Who?"

On the Kent Farm, Kara and Jan had dug in their dinner, but what had worked for Kal-El, didn't for Kara Zor-El.
